LinkedIn

LinkedIn can be a great place to share work you’re proud of - like pictures of a great kitchen that you just created for a client and you’re probably already doing that today.

They have added a feature where you can add a link to your personal profile - it would be a great place to add a link to your store page and you can write what you wish - like “Book a meeting with me” in your own language.

This is on your personal LinkedIn profile

First step is to activate “Creator” mode - LinkedIn has a guide on how to do that here. Creator mode gives people the option of following you without actually being “friends” with you and gives you more options, like this cool button link. Once you’ve activated it, here’s how you can set the link:

To set the link, you just go to your profile and click the button that says “Add custom button”:

Then a window opens up where you can select the button type. If you aren’t a premium member, you can still create a link, so select Link:

If you’re a Premium member, there are a number of ready-made buttons you can select, including Book an appointment:

But it’s actually totally fine to be a regular LinkedIn member, as you can write what you wish and you don’t have to use one of the LinkedIn options. You just enter the link you want it to go to and the text you’d like.

And then it looks like this on your profile:

The premium version is a little more like an actual button, but the link version is good too because you can write what you wish.

Hope you find this useful!
