4.4 Buffer zones

Home meetings

On the website (and in MyStore), buffer zones has been set up for Home meetings. These buffer zones have been set up to make sure that the Salesperson can get from location A to location B in due time, and also allowing time for prepraration for the meeting. Moreover, Home meetings have to be created more than 24 hours in advance.

The set up buffer zone is 1 hour before the meeting, and 1 hour after the meeting. In the example below a one-hour-meeting has been used for this example;

  • A. Buffer zone 1 is between 11-12 o' clock

  • B. Meeting is between 12-13 o' clock

  • C. Buffer zone 2 is between 13-14 o' clock

It is important to note that no other bookings can be made in the buffer zone (the light blue area).

Store and online meetings

To illustrate how much time in advance a customer can book a store or online meeting through the website, an example will be provided:

A meeting at 15:00 is requested by the customer

  • This meeting is possible for the customer to book until 14:44 the same day.

  • If the customer wants to book the meeting at 15:00 when it is 14:45 or 14:46, the next available timeslot will be 15:30.

To sum up, there has to be more than 15 minutes before the start of a store/online meeting before the customer is able to book the meeting. Otherwise, the next available timeslot will be shown.

The 15-minute buffer on store and online meetings also emphasize the importance of booking walk-in customers, since it is possible for other customers to book meetings 16 minutes in advance through the website.
