Sometimes it can be necessary to close your Outlook calendar in case of days off, vacation or private appointments.

To do this, you need to use Microsoft Outlook. Please note: Blocking your calendar in Outlook will block your availability from all stores you are working in.

Here is how to do it:

  1. Create a new appointment in your Microsoft Outlook

  2. Create an appointment

  3. If you invite others, they will be blocked in MyStore as well if they are Required Attendees. If they are Optional Attendees, they will still be open for meetings.

  4. Click the Categorize button

  5. Then choose Tracked to Dynamics 365 (and then the appointment will turn dark blue)

(If we then take a look at the Schedule board in MyStore we should now see a blocking for the specific time)

IMPORTANT:

  1. Please allow up to 15 minutes for a sync.

  2. If your appointment is more than 50 days into the future, you will not be able to see it in MyStore until 50 days before the appointment is supposed to take place.

Unblock the appointment
To unblock (untrack) your blocking in Microsoft Outlook, do as follows;

  1. Open the appointment in Outlook

  2. Click the Dynamics 365 app

  3. In the new pop-up window, click on Untrack

  4. Click on Untrack again

  5. Click on the Delete button
    After a while you will then be open for bookings again.
