Search in subfolders

If you have problems searching in subfolders, please do the following:

 Instructions

  1. Open Outlook 365

  2. Click “File”

  3. Click “Account settings”

  4. Choose “Account Name and Sync Settings”

  5. Click on “More Settings”

  6. Navigate to the advanced tab

  7. Remove the checkmark from “Download shared folders”

  8. Press “OK”

  9. Remember to restart Outlook after this change.

Please note that mails in shared mailboxes may disappear. Please give Outlook some time to fetch these mails from the server.

Do not put a checkmark in “Download shared folders” shortly after removing it and restarting Outlook as this can cause emails to not synch.
