Sometimes it can be necessary to close your Outlook calendar in case of days off, vacation or private appointments. To do this, you need to use Microsoft Outlook.
Please note: Blocking your calendar in Outlook will block your availability from all stores you are working in. If you are in a situation where you do any meeting due to private reasons or some other important occasion, then it is possible to block out your calendar for that period of time.
One way to do this is through Outlookworking in multiple stores and only want to block yourself in one store, please visit this guide.
Here is how to do it:
Create a new appointment
Click the Dynamics App
Click Track Without Regarding
A blocking will now have been created in your personal schedule board in mystore
...
If we then take a look at the Schedule board in Mystore we should now see a blocking for a whole day
In the Schedule Board I can now see that I have blocked my calendar for 24 hours
You can off course also make the blocking shorter if it is only a private appointment for a couple hours
...
This appointment is synchronized between Mystore and Outlook
so when if you need to delete the blocking you will have to do the following
Open the appointment
Click the Dynamic App
Untrack the appointment
Delete the appointment
...
This will remove the blocking in Mystore and in you Outlook Calender
...
in your Microsoft Outlook
Create an appointment
If you invite others, they will be blocked in MyStore as well if they are Required Attendees. If they are Optional Attendees, they will still be open for meetings.
Click the Categorize button
Then choose Tracked to Dynamics 365 (and then the appointment will turn dark blue)
