How far in advance can a customer book a meeting?

How far in advance can a customer book a meeting?

To make sure you don´t get booked with too short a notice, the system calculates a buffer before showing available time slots to the customer.

The system always takes the store opening hours into account before it calculates the buffer.

Store Visit buffer

The standard is 4 opening hours in advance. That means if a customer wants to book a meeting at 5 p.m. and the stores closes at 6pm and opens at 10 a.m., then the first available time slot will be at 12 p.m. the next day.

If the customer wants to book on a Saturday night, then the first available time slot will be at 1 p.m. the next Monday.

Video Meeting buffer

The same as Store Visit Buffer.

Kvik Home Buffer

Kvik Home is a little special. The standard is 48 hours in advance.

But this is not calculated based on the store's opening hours. The calculation is done in actual hours.

This means it the customer wants to book a Kvik Home meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday, then the next available time slot will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

If the customer wants to book on a Friday evening, then the next available time slot will be the next timeslot you have available in your calendar Monday morning.

If you have a weekly planning routine Monday morning and don´t want bookings at this time, you should block your calendar with a recurring event.

NOTICE: Some stores that have dedicated Kvik Home staff might want a lesser buffer. We are looking into making the buffer individual per store.
