First or second meeting?
How to determine if it's a first meeting with a customer or a second one.
When you book a meeting for a customer in Staff Booking, you have to select whether it's the first meeting or the second one.
First meeting
It's the first meeting with a customer if it's the first time you present the Kvik concept and range to the customer and discuss their wishes and needs in depth.
Second meeting
It's the second meeting with a customer if it's a follow-up meeting of any kind - to present drawings, to do measurements, etc. Any meeting where you devote time to the customer, following up on a first meeting. This can also mean a third or fourth meeting.
Walk-ins
Walk-ins are also counted as a first meeting if the walk-in resulted in sitting down iwth the customer and creating a drawing in Kreator and subsequently sending a drawing/quotation to the customer.
NOTE: We are soon ready with a solution in Staff Booking where you can register a walk-in meeting that has already occurred - and also if the sales person was not available for online bookings because he/she was tending the shop.
Why do I have to choose a meeting type?
It's important to choose a meeting type, because:
We want to give all stores better insight into how many meetings are needed to close an order.
We want to give stores better insights on how much availability (during certain opening hour or day of week) affects your booking rate.
It gives us the data we need to help create the right marketing communication flows to customers.
