NL ONLY: Maximize your In-Store Meetings during COVID Restrictions
The most efficient way to use the booking system to make sure you comply with the restrictions and have the maximum amount of meetings in your store.
These are trying times, but sometimes necessity makes us more creative - Kvik Woerden figured out a way to set up their timeslots so that they could more easily comply with the restriction of only having two people in your store at a time. They also found a way to spread the appointments around between all their sales people so that everyone would get a chance to meeting with customers. Let's take a look at how they did that.
Expanded opening hours
The first measure that you can take is to expand your opening hours - in this example, the store is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. That means that you can have 6 customer meetings per day.
Adjust your Timeslots
Change each employee's timeslots so that they are in two-hour blocks. This way, you can designate various different employees for Store meetings at different times. Then, because timeslots with the same time, which are adjacent, function like one big timeslot, the rest of their time, they can be booked for video and Kvik Home meetings. If you need a refresher on how to set timeslots, go here. And you can see from this screenshot that it can add up to more in-store meetings per week per employee than you might think.
Book the In-Store meetings via Staff Booking
Rather than making the store meetings that you have available for customers to book themselves via the website, control the bookings by doing them yourself via Staff Booking. You can do this by blocking the time in your Outlook with a "Busy" meeting. You can override this in Staff Booking when you speak with a customer on the phone and wish to book them. This will give you more control of those bookings and make sure that you fill them with customers who are serious about buying a kitchen. You probably have a lot of offers out there, where the customers are just waiting to make their final decision after they've seen and touched the kitchens in person - call them and use these precious timeslots on those customers.
Use all the timeslots you have for In-Store meetings
Be sure to have great communication amongst the team to ensure that you use all the opportunities you have to have two people in the store at a time.
